Many people think of facial expression when they hear the word Presentation.
However, Presentation is not judged by the face alone.
Expression that reaches the judges and the audience comes from the whole body.
Eyes, head position, shoulders, back, arms, fingertips, core, knees, and both legs all matter. When these body parts match the atmosphere of the music and the program, the performance becomes more convincing.
For example, if the music feels sad but the body is stiff and only the arms are moving, the expression may look shallow. On the other hand, even in quiet music, a meaningful use of the back, eyes, and arms can create a strong impression.

✅ Good example
The head, eyes, arms, back, and core all create the same atmosphere.
The arm movements come naturally from the center of the body.
The posture stays controlled, and the movement continues to match the music until the end.
The emotion is visible not only in the face, but also in the body line and quality of movement.
❌ Poor example
The skater makes facial expressions, but the body movement always looks the same.
The arms are moving, but the back and core are not involved.
The posture collapses, making the movement look careless.
The atmosphere of the music does not match the way the body is used.
✍️ Summary
Presentation is not acting with the face. It is showing the feeling, atmosphere, and character of the music through the whole body.
