Jumps, spins, step sequences, and choreographic sequences are not separate tasks. In Composition, they should be placed in ways that fit the idea of the program and connect to the movement before and after them.
✅ Examples of purposeful placement:
Jumps: Placing a big jump where the music opens up the most.
Spins: Placing a spin in a quiet section to show your body shapes clearly.
Steps: Changing the direction of a step sequence as the music develops and builds tension.
A common misunderstanding
Putting a jump on a strong musical sound is not automatically good. The movement into the jump, the flow after the landing, and the next change in the music must also fit for the placement to work.

For every element, explain in one sentence why it is in that place. If you cannot explain it, review the placement or the movements before and after it.
